History of the Kuwait Volleyball Association
The Kuwait Volleyball Association (KVA) has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1957. Since then, it has played a pivotal role in promoting and developing volleyball within Kuwait. In 1975, the KVA joined the Arab Volleyball Association (AVA), further strengthening its regional ties. Additionally, the KVA became a member of the Asian Volleyball Confederation in 1976 and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) in 1963. Led by the board members, the KVA continues to foster the growth of volleyball in Kuwait.

Kuwait Volleyball Association: Regional Competitions
The Kuwait Volleyball Association (KVA) has actively engaged in regional and international volleyball events. Notable highlights include participation in the Arab Volleyball Championship, the Asian Volleyball Competitions, and the GCC Volleyball Championships. Additionally, the KVA supports beach volleyball, contributing to Kuwait’s presence on both indoor courts and sandy beaches.
